After having my wisdom tooth removed on tuesday the last few days have been a fug of toothache and drowsy drugs. It was a very difficult extraction and I still have numbness as a result of damage to a nerve. During my worst hour on Tuesday night I considered how terrible I am at planning. During the middle of an epic work-push I try to fit in a little wisdom tooth extraction. I just couldn't figure out through all the codeine quite why i'd done that.
Well anyway, what's done is done as they say. So amidst all of this i'm still working away and just confining myself to the studio. I have a few pieces finished and some part-way...everything's on schedule amazingly. Below is one new finished piece which I can show.
Before it was finished - it wasn't
And here's a small section from my new favourite piece:
I hope you're all very well

I had mine out on wednesday. At this point I have been trying not to take the drugs because I am tired of being dizzy and sleepy... there are so many things I WANT to be doing!! But it still hurts...

Thanks for the encouraging words folks! Kate - ain't it the truth. I had no choice really but to take the drugs initially. Codeine helped but ultimately clove oil directly into the socket was the best relief! Getting a bit better now. Thank goodness! Hope you are all well!

Whoa. That's some pretty snazzy art you're making there. Did you make those while you were recovering? That would have been a nice way to distract you from the discomfort of getting a tooth removed.
Well, I hope your teeth felt better without a hitch.

My wisdom tooth has been giving me problems for quite some time now, but I have yet the chance to get it removed because of my busy schedule. I do plan to get it removed soon, as I've heard that it may cause other dental problems.
