This is a large study piece called 'Oiled Scarlet Ibis' - it's inspired (if you can call it that) by the BP oil spillage in the gulf of Mexico and the classic image of Audubon's Flamingo.
Beneath the main title it reads 'Notes from a disaster' - in my head i've already planned several notes from disasters.
So brilliant Lindsey! Beautifully painted and thoughtful.
